A little about Me...
“From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.” Acts 17-26-27
My name is Hailey. I’m a follower of Jesus who empowers me to live a life of love for humanity and his creation. Six years ago, our family moved to the outskirts of a small town, into a fixer upper, sitting on six acres of land. If you asked me then what my intentions were, I would’ve told you I was seeking “self-sufficiency.” Since then, I now realize God’s purpose is for so much more. First, true self-sufficiency is unattainable in that we were created for fellowship with people and a reliance on God’s provision. Second, bigger than my little six acres, I am passionate about nature and food systems for all people. Third, because of His great love, he intensely draws me away from my love for material things. While I still love being a homemaker and using my God given creativity to create beautiful things, my love for the Lord grows. Through this blog I am putting myself out there in case anyone can find my experiences helpful in their own lives. I’m eager to contribute to and receive feedback from a community that enjoys learning and improving.
Looking forward, I will be adding content about rehabbing an old farmhouse, revitalizing a broken farm, recipes for healing and dietary restrictions (I have Celiac’s disease myself and children with multiple allergies), homeschooling, faith, and so much more. I will be posting most of my content here, but you can also find my family on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram.
Please feel free to reach out to me through this or any of the other platforms. I love receiving questions, comments, or suggestions from the people in this community!

Blessings,
Hailey
